Hunter, Ross

Furg and Sarah Lee Hunter of New Madrid announce the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth, to Jeffrey Lynn Ross of Sikeston. A graduate of New Madrid County Central, the future bride is currently pursuing her R.N. degree through Southeast Missouri Hospital College of Nursing and Health Sciences.

The son of Jim and Vicci Ross of Essex, the prospective bridegroom is a graduate of Richland High School and Hannibal-LaGrange College, and has a Master degree from Southeast Missouri State University. He is employed with the New Madrid County R-1 School District as an elementary counselor and basketball coach.

Plans are underway for a June 28 wedding at the New Madrid Baptist Church.
