Mr. Curran had lived in many states while serving in the Air Force. He had lived in Dexter the past several years. He enjoyed golf, bowling, old car repair and spending time with his family.
On July 26, 1959, he was married to Betty Lizenbee in Rockville, Ind.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Curran of Dexter; two sons, Tony Curran of Dexter and John Curran of Hazelwood; six grandchildren and one brother, Bern Curran of El Paso, Texas.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Joey Curran.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Thursday, June 12, 2008, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Loren Stephens of Dyersburg, Tenn., officiating.
Interment will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
