Jerry G. Foster, son of the late Clyde and Thelma Louise Parsons Foster, was born in Parma on June 15, 1946, and died at his home in Brighton, Tenn., on June 10, 2008, at the age of 61.

Mr. Foster had lived in Brighton, Tenn., the past 23 years. He was a member of the Dexter Eagles Aerie, the American Legion in Dexter, the Amvets and a former member of the Dexter Masonic Lodge.

On Nov. 13, 2007, he was married to Donna Wilmath in Covington, Tenn.

Surviving are his wife, Donna Foster of Brighton, Tenn.; one son, Jerry Scott Foster of Dudley; one step-son, Roger David Barber of Millington, Tenn.; one grandchild; four brothers, Larry Don and Jay W. Foster, both of Brighton, Tenn., Charles Delton Ross of St. Louis and Terry Ross of Alabama; and two sisters, Evelyn Wilbanks of Brighton, Tenn., and Cindy Pountney of England.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Clyde Foster, Jr.

Visitation will be held after 11 a.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Friday, June 13, 2008, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Rev. Karen Oldham of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with full military honors provided by Missouri Military Honors.

Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is in charge of arrangements.
