Garrett Cox and Jill Duvall were united in marriage at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007, at the Gables Bed and Breakfast in Hot Springs, Ark. The couple exchanged vows in an intimate family ceremony with Madison Cox, sister of the bridegroom, serving as flower girl.
The bride is the daughter of Tony and Pam Johnson from Perryville and Charles Duvall from Perryville. The bridegroom is the son of Jessica Cox from Tyler, Texas, and Rodger and Sharon Cox from Bloomfield.
A family reception was held at Embassy Suites followed by a family dinner at the Brau Haus Restaurant in Hot Springs. The couple honeymooned in Hot Springs before returning to their home in Ozark.
The bride is a graduate of Southeast Missouri State University and Perryville High School. The groom is a graduate of the College of the Ozarks and Dexter High School.
Garrett serves in the Missouri National Guard and has been deployed to Iraq. The couple originally planned to be married on June 14, 2008, and will hold a wedding celebration for family and friends upon Garrett's safe return from Iraq.
