Cortney Lynn Feypel (Lloyd) and Kody Louis Gilbow were engaged on Dec. 29, 2006. The couple plans to exchange vows in the presence of family and friends during an early evening outdoor wedding at Midway Farms in Fayette on May 24, 2008. Parents of the couple are Brian and Mary (Korth) Lloyd of Columbia and Kerry and Carol Gilbow of Dexter.

Cortney is a graduate of Douglass High School in Columbia and is currently in the cosmetology industry in Dana Point, Calif. Kody is a graduate of Dexter High School. The couple met while Kody attended the University of Missouri-Columbia. He graduated with a bachelor of science degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance. He is a quality assurance manager at Equity Direct in Mission Viejo, Calif. The couple resides in Laguna Niguel, Calif.
