Ivy Bailey of Bloomfield and Pamela Wheeler of Dexter announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Melissa Bailey, to Ben Stevens, son of Tony and Karen Stevens of Dexter.

The bride-elect is employed by First National Bank in Dexter and is a graduate of Bloomfield High School in 2006.

The prospective bridegroom is self-employed and a graduate of Dexter High School in 2004.

A wedding is planned for 4 p.m. June 7, 2008, at First General Baptist Church in Bloomfield.
