Minton, Hake

Myron and Robin Minton of Advance announce the engagement of their daughter Melissa Kay Minton to Austin Michael Hake of Dexter. He is the son of Dawn Miller of Dexter. Melissa is the granddaughter of Bobby and Carolyn Crites of Advance and great-granddaughter of Pauline Crites of Sturdivant.

Minton is a 2002 graduate of Advance High School. She is employed at Dexter Regions Bank and coaches the training team in gymnastics at Rainbow Gymnastics in Dexter.

Hake is a 2005 graduate of Dexter High School. He received an agricultural business degree from Three Rivers Community College. He is employed at Hidden Trails Country Club in Dexter and coaches tumbling at Rainbow Gymnastics.

A destination wedding has been set for June at St. Andrew's State Park in Panama City Beach, Fla. After the return of the couple, a Sunday, July 13,2008, reception will be held at Premier Martial Arts, 16 South Walnut Street, Dexter. The open house will be held from 2-5 p.m Sunday.
