Perry Gis

Perry Gisi, son of Hazel Coffey Gisi of Essex and the late Harold Gisi, was born on Oct. 10, 1948, at Sikeston and died in the Golden Living Center at Malden on Saturday, June 21, 2008, at the age of 59.

Mr. Gisi was a member of the Hopewell General Baptist Church at Frisco, a Federal Civil Service Employee, working as a production controller in finances at San Antonio, Texas, and a resident of Essex.

Survivors include his mother, Hazel Gisi of Essex; one brother, Larry Gisi and wife, Carolyn of Essex; one niece, Carrie Stephens and husband Owen of Avondale, Ariz.; and one great-niece, Chelsea Stephens of Avondale, Ariz.

Visitation was held from noon until 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were then conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 24, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Martin Goode officiating.

Interment followed in the Dexter Cemetery.
