Robert Whitwell

Robert Whitwell, son of the late Millard and Myrtle Rice Whitwell was born on Feb. 20, 1939, at Pontiac, Mich., and died on July 5, 2008, at Hohenwald, Tenn., at the age of 69.

Mr. Whitwell was employed at General Motors and a resident of Hohenwald, Tenn.

He was united in marriage to Barbara Adamic. Mrs. Whitwell survives of the home.

Besides his wife he is survived by three daughters, Elizabeth Whitwell of Hohenwald, Tenn., Kimberly Hernandez of Clarkston, Mich., and Kelly Bolton of Metamora, Mich.; one brother, Ronald Whitwell of Davison, Mich.; and three grandsons.

Visitation was held at the First Baptist Church in Hohenwald, Tenn., on July 8, 2008, at 12 p.m.

Visitation will also be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home on Thursday, July 10, 2008 from 10-10:45 a.m.

A graveside service will be conducted on Thursday, July 10, 2008 at the Dexter Cemetery at 11 a.m.
