Geraldine Cowan

Geraldine Cowan was born May 10, 1943, at Chicago, Ill., and died Wednesday, July 9, 2008, at her residence in Dexter.

She had lived at Dexter for the past six years and formerly lived at Broseley. She worked for Pyramid Home Health Care and was a homemaker who enjoyed bingo and taking her grandchildren for the weekend.

Survivors include two sons, Steven Cowan of New Lenox, Ill., and Michael Cowan of Essex; one sister, Bernice Hacker of Broseley; five grandchildren; and three brothers, Gary Clark of Las Vegas, Nev., Dennis Clark of Merillville, Ind., and Raymond Clark of Mokena, Ill.

Visitation will be held at 6 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008, at White Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 13, 2008, at White-Sanders Funeral Home in Fisk with Rev. Danny Collins officiating.

Interment will follow at Brown Chapel Cemetery in Broseley.
