Theresa Ann Grisham

Theresa Ann Grisham, 65, of Bell City was born June 3, 1943, at Kennett, the daughter of George and Katherine Davis Midkiff, and died Saturday, July 12, 2008, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Theresa was a homemaker and believed in the General Baptist faith.

Theresa and Jerry Grisham were united in marriage on Jan. 18, 1973, at Olive Branch, Miss., and he preceded her in death on July 11, 2005.

Survivors include a daughter, Tammy Green of Bell City; a brother, Robert Midkiff of Dexter; five sisters, Kay Hughes of Advance, Margie Morgan of Dexter, Donna Rae of Morehouse, Melinda Hensley and Mary Buckley, both of Sikeston; and three grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; a sister; and a granddaughter.

Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2008, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance with Rev. Cotus James officiating.

Interment followed in Pleasant Hill Cemetery near Advance.
