Peggy Lucille Marler Hufford, daughter of the late James Wesley Bunch and Edna Ritcheson Bunch Johnson, was born April 1, 1944, at Malden and died Friday, July 11, 2008, at Twin Rivers Regional Medical Center in Kennett.

She had married Sanford Lee "Muck" Marler on Sept. 14, 1964, and he preceded her in death on Oct. 28, 1998. She later married Ray Hufford on June 26, 2001, at Wardell.

She had been a member of New Life Fellowship in Campbell.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Hufford of Gideon; one daughter, Hilda Parker of Harviell; one grandson; three brothers, James Wesley Bunch of Steele, Doy Johnson of Malden, and Roy Johnson of Aquilla; two sisters, Evelyn Bunch and Joyce Fincher, both of Dexter.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Donnie Darlene Bunch and Judith Kathleen Gambling; and her step-father, Sam Johnson.

Visitation was held after 11 a.m. Monday, July 14, 2008, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Graveside funeral services were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday, July 14, 2008, at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Clarkton.

Interment followed at Mt. Gilead Cemetery.

Arrangements were made by Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.
