Mrs. Johnson was a homemaker, a member of the Bread of Life Church of Parma and was a resident of Parma.
She was united in marriage to Henry Johnson on March 20, 1951 at Earle, Ark. Mr. Johnson preceded her in death on July 4, 1999.
Survivors include six sons, Willie Patton, Robert Johnson, Johnny Johnson, and John Henry Johnson, all of Elgin, Ill., Charles Johnson and Leon Johnson both of Parma; one sister, Ola Mae Morris of Belvidere, Ill.: twenty-seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews and many friends.
Other than her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, George Gordon and Melvin Johnson: by two daughters, Christine Johnson and Teresa Johnson: by seven brothers, Freddie Patton, Robert
Patton, Parker Patton, Willie Patton, R. B. Patton, James Patton and Sonny Patton.
Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, on Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 11 a.m. until noon.
Funeral Services will then be conducted at noon in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Bernie with Rev. Carl Williams officiating.
Interment will follow in the Simmons Park Cemetery in Catron.
