Dennis Floyd Riddle, son of the late Alvis Russell and Reva Lucille Bollinger Riddle, was born in Dudley on March 14, 1946, and died at his home near Bernie on Thursday, Aug. 7, 2008, at the age of 62.
Mr. Riddle had lived and farmed in rural Bernie all his life. He attended the Bethany General Baptist Church near Campbell. He had worked for 28 years at the Brown Shoe Co. in Bernie and was the yard manager at Riddle Lumber Company in Dexter.
Surviving are one son, Dennis Floyd Riddle, Jr. of Parma; one daughter, Cindy Green of Campbell; two grandchildren; three brothers, R.J. Riddle and Terry Riddle, both of Bloomfield and Darryl Riddle of Jackson.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 9, 2008, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter and will be held again from 2-3 p.m. on Sunday, Aug. 10, 2008, at the Bethany General Baptist Church near Campbell.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Sunday, at the Bethany General Baptist Church Activity Center near Campbell with Rev. Bryan Johnson of Campbell officiating.
Interment will be in Bethany Cemetery near Campbell with Watkins & Sons Funeral Home of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
