Mrs. Ridenhour was a member of the Broadwater Church Of The Brethren at Frisco, a homemaker and a resident of rural Essex.
She was united in marriage to Virgil Ridenhour at Wolf Creek, Ore. Mr. Ridenhour survives.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five sons, Robert Brown of Mayfield, Ky., Ronald Brown of Edwardsville, Ill., Garry Brown, Larry Brown and Dennis Brown, all of Dexter; one daughter, Debra Kelley of Essex; one brother, Donald Shipman of Grants Pass, Ore.; one sister, Alice Martin of Bernie; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and three step-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 15, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. Harold Gass officiating.
Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery.
