Lola Maxine Morgan

Lola Maxine Morgan, the daughter of the late Doy Sylvester and Gladys Douglas Henderson Morgan, was born in Jasper, Ark., on April 20, 1943, and died at the Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter on Sunday, Aug. 24, 2008, at the age of 65.

Ms. Morgan had lived in Arkansas and Sikeston before moving to Dexter in 1965. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church. She had worked at the Dexter Nursing Center as a housekeeper.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Orville Ray Morgan; and one sister, Jessie Lee Morgan.

Visitation will be held after 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 27, 2008, at the Hagy Cemetery in Dexter with Rev. Karen Oldham of Dexter officiating.

Interment will follow in the Hagy Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
