Kristin Eaves dominated the net for the varsity Lady Mules with eight block, including four solo stuffs.
Sophomore Lyndsey Stone played just one varsity game but recorded four kills to give the team needed offense, while Sami Palmer was tops in digs with 11, followed by Eaves with nine.
"The varsity played well except for our hitting," Bernie coach Jeff Rodgers said. "Lyndsey Stone came in the second set and gave us a lift with four kills. We'll have to hit better than that if we want to beat the good teams. I'm confident we will."
Palmer had 11 digs and 12 aces to lead the jayvee Lady Mules to victory. Stone and Laci Cowart each charted three kills.
"The JV did a great job tonight (Tuesday), especially serving," Rodgers stated. "Rachel Palmer (12 aces) and Jennifer Hanham (8 aces) had some nice serves. We had very few errors, and that's who wins JV games."
