Tina Allstun, daughter of the late Esta Anthony and Flossie Bell Ringham George, was born in Dongola, Ill., on Dec. 23, 1917, and died at the Golden Living Center in Dexter on Tuesday, Sept. 9, 2008, at the age of 90.
Mrs. Allstun had lived in Cleveland, Ohio, before moving to the Dexter area in 1932. She was a member of the Church of Christ in Dexter.
On Sept. 1, 1934, she was married to Charley Lloyd Allstun in Dexter. He preceded her in death on July 12, 1985.
Surviving are one daughter, Lorene Marie Ward of Dexter; three sons, Franklin, Leon and Lloyd Allstun, all of Dexter; nine grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two sons, Raymond Glen and Carl Edward Allstun; two brothers, Cyrel Herbert and Eugene Anthony George; one sister, Goldie Bell Pry; and one grandson.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11 at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Bro. Mike Yates of Salem, Ark., officiating.
Interment will follow in Dexter Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
