Mildred Juanita Story

Mildred Juanita Story, daughter of the late Ed Henderson and Blanch Polsgrove Henderson, was born April 25, 1919, in St. Francis, Ark., and died Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at Crowley Ridge Care Center in Dexter at the age of 89.

Mrs. Story was a member of Kimball Baptist Church in Malden and a member of the Malden's VFW Auxiliary.

She was united in marriage to C.A. Story on May 30, 1937, in Piggott, Ark., and he preceded her in death on Feb. 3, 1986.

Survivors include her daughter, Myra Jines of Dexter; two sisters, Lois Hollingworth of Spanish Fort, Ala., and Dolis Smith of Springfield; and one grandson.

She was preceded in death by one son, Kenneth Ray Story; four brothers, Ed, David, H.R. and Vernon Henderson; and one sister, Ava Langley.

Visitation was held from 1 p.m. - service time Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden.

Funeral services were conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at Bradshaw Chapel in Malden with Rev. Gene Lancaster officiating.

Interment followed in Hall Cemetery in St. Francis, Ark.
