Larry Dale Gaines

Larry Dale Gaines, the son of Lonnie Joe Gaines and Jackie Randleman Gaines, was born in Poplar Bluff on Jan. 31, 1970, and died at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Wednesday, Sept. 10, 2008, at the age of 38.

Mr. Gaines had lived in the Southeast Missouri area all his life and had lived in Dexter for several years. He enjoyed fishing and deer hunting.

In October of 1999, he was married to Carolyn Frazier in Puxico.

Surviving are his wife, Carolyn Gaines of Dexter; his parents, Lonnie Joe Gaines of Wappapello and Jackie Gaines of Puxico; his maternal grandparents, Jack and Edith Randleman of McGee; and two brothers, Joe Gaines and Jason Gaines, both of Puxico.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2008, at Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 13, 2008, in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico with Matt Mitchell of Poplar Bluff officiating.

Interment will be in the Brown Cemetery near Puxico with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
