he engagement of Lauren Elliott and Jonathan Allen has been announced by the couple's parents, Tom and Robin Elliott of Kansas City and Kenneth Allen and Mary Ann (Parker) Allen of Bloomfield.

Paternal grandparents of the couple are George and Christine (Boyles) Allen of Doniphan and Elaine Elliott of Lathrop and the late Melvin Elliott.

Maternal grandparents of the groom are Linda (Sligar) Parker from Dexter and the late William Paul Parker. The bride's maternal grandparents are Gerry and Sharon Carson of Kansas City and Robert Kilgree and July Kilgree of Trimble.

The couple will be wed on Saturday, Sept. 20, 2008 at 3 p.m. at Quail Ridge Park in Wentzville.
