Bud Lynxwiler

William "Bud" David Lynxwiler, son of the late Sylvester and Jewell Vance Lynxwiler, was born on May 12, 1945, at Doniphan and died on Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008, at the age of 63.

He was a disabled veteran serving in the Vietnam War, a member of the Disabled American Veterans, V.F.W., American Legion, and a resident of Dexter.

On April 19, 1969, he was united in marriage to Joyce Lane in Pontiac, Mich. Mrs. Lynxwiler survives of their home in Dexter.

Besides his wife, he is survived by one daughter, Pamela Jean Lynxwiler of Dexter; one sister, Mary Dobbins of Killeen, Texas; two grandchildren, Wesley Ashley and Melody Moxley; two nephews; and many friends and family.

Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one son, Coy Michael Lynxwiler in infancy; and two sisters, Janie Stubbe and Sylvia Lynxwiler.

Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 on Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

A graveside memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Monday, Oct. 6, 2008, at the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
