Mrs. Woodruff had lived in the Essex and Dexter area and she worked for many years at the Brown Shoe Company.
She was a member of the Second General Baptist Church in Dexter.
On Oct. 20, 1934, she was married to George Woodruff in Essex.
Surviving are her husband, George Woodruff of Dexter, one son; Gene Woodruff of Dexter; one niece, Marilyn Grubbs, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Woodruff was preceded in death by one son, Jerry L. Woodruff and one sister, Edith Larock.
Visitation was held from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday Oct. 8, 2008, at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Graveside funeral services were held on Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008, at 11:30 a.m. at the Essex Cemetery in Essex with the Rev. John Armbruster officiating.
Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter is handling all local arrangements.
