Colleen Marie Brown

Colleen Marie Brown, the daughter of the late Clarence and Eunice Sneed Robinson, was born in Sikeston on Oct. 30, 1928, and died at her home in Dexter on Oct. 8, 2008, at the age of 79.

Mrs. Brown grew up in Dexter before moving to California with her family. She returned to Dexter in 1988. She was a member of the Church of the Brethren in Frisco.

On May 19, 1948, she was married to Jess Brown.

Surviving are her husband, Jess Brown of Dexter, and two sisters, Virginia Crane and Genevive Gaines, both of Dexter.

A memorial service was held on Friday, Oct. 10 at 10 a.m. at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield with Bro. Harold Gass officiating.

Interment followed in the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
