Mr. Williams had lived in Southeast Missouri all his life and had lived in Dexter the past several years. He was a retired auto mechanic.
Surviving are three daughters, Sharon McIntyre of Bloomfield, Brenda Burnett of Fountain, Mich., Susie Everesto of Lake Elsinore, Calif.; one son, Gary Williams of Dexter; 11 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one brother, Glendon Williams.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Willie, Charles and Leo Omara; and four sisters, Esther Creed, Lorena Smith, Edna Henson and Mary Tucker.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Oct. 23, 2008, from 5-8 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Oct. 23, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Donald Jolliff of Painton officiating.
Interment will follow in the Walker Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
