Alfred Daniel Mowery

Alfred Daniel Mowery, son of the late Truel and Ellen Westers Mowery was born at Bernie on June 27, 1940 and died at his home in rural Bloomfield on Oct. 22, 2008 at the age of 68.

Mr. Mowery had been a resident of Bloomfield for the past 22 years and was a retired farmer. On March 12, 1967 he was married to Doris Higgins.

Survivors include his wife, Doris, of the home in Bloomfield, two sons, Allen Mowery of Sieverville, Tenn, and Daniel Mowery of Morehouse; one daughter, Lisa Mowery of Sikeston, one brother James Mowery, of Mayer Ariz, 19 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held at a later date. Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield is in charge of arrangements.
