Laurence Larry Henely, son of Nettie Fisher Henely of Webster City, Iowa, and the late Francis Henely, was born on Oct. 17, 1940, in Dodge, Iowa and died in the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center on Oct. 27, 2008, at the age of 68.

Mr. Henely was of the Catholic faith, a self-employed automobile dealer and a resident of Puxico.

He was united in marriage to Berneda Goldman on Dec. 31, 1991, in Dayton, Iowa. Mrs. Henely survives of the home in Puxico.

Besides his wife, he is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Lori and David Long of Goshen, Iowa, Joni and Mike Duffy of Humboldt, Iowa, and Dora and Mike Burma of Boone, Iowa; one step-son and daughter-in-law, Jerry and Karen Kiger of Dexter; three step-daughters, Teresa Friese, Tina Hale and husband David, and Kim Lang and husband Eric, all of Dexter; one brother, Daniel Henely and wife Roberta of Duncombe, Iowa; and 16 grandchildren.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Revs. Dale Holman and Jimmy Kirby officiating.

Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
