Taylor-Jackson wed

Jennifer Suzanne Taylor and Corey Douglas Jackson, both of Columbia, were united in marriage at 1 p.m. on April 19, 2008, at St. Vincent de Paul Church in Cape Girardeau.

The Rev. Rahab Isidor performed the double ring ceremony. Lenny Kuper was the pianist, and other instrumentalists were Jennifer Willis, floutist; James Thompson, cellist. The vocalist was Alan Bruns of Cape Girardeau.

The bridal attendants were Bonnie Taylor, sister of the bride from New York, N.Y.; Sally Powell, sister of the bride from Columbia; Jill Davis, friend of the bride from Cape Girardeau; Katie Kunz, friend of the bride from Tampa, Fla.; Kami Waldman, friend of the bride from St. Louis; and Ashlee Jackson, sister of the bridegroom from Jonesboro, Ark.

The flower girls were Hannah and Sarah Powell, nieces of the bride from Columbia. Their parents are Sally and Russ Powell.

The reader was Beth Bishop, friend of the bride from St. Louis. The wedding coordinator was Linda Bailiff, aunt of the bride from Cape Girardeau.

The best man was Casey Gill, friend of the bridegroom from Dexter. Groomsmen were all friends of the bridegroom, Eddie Collier and Chris Lacy, both from St. Louis; Beau Admire, from Columbia; Ryan MacFarland from Plano, Texas; and Alberto Barba from Columbia.

Friends of the bridegroom, Derek Burnett from Dexter and Ryan Crist from Columbia, and Russ Powell, brother-in-law of the bride from Columbia, served as ushers.

A rehearsal dinner was hosted by Gary and Sheila Jackson, parents of the bridegroom, on Friday, April 18, at Bella Italia in Cape Girardeau.

The reception was held after the wedding at Deerfield Lodge in Cape Girardeau with Melissa Langley and Victoria Langley as servers.

Toni Pyle, aunt of the bride from Dexter, and Hilary Pyle, cousin of the bride, were the guest book attendants.

Jennifer graduated from University of Missouri at Columbia with a bachelor in health sciences in 2004. In May 2008 she graduated from Washington University School of Medicine with a doctorate in audiology. She is employed at the Harry S. Truman Memorial Veterans Hospital in Columbia.

Corey graduated from University of Missouri at Columbia with a bachelor in psychology in 2004. In May 2007 he graduated from University of Missouri Law School and is employed at the law firm of Atwill and Montgomery in Columbia.

The couple will reside in Columbia.
