Patricia Leeann Hon

Patricia Leeann Hon, the daughter of the late Kenneth E. and Katherine Faulkner Brantley, was born in Klamath Falls, Ore., on May 2, 1954, and died at her home in Emporia, Kan., on Nov. 14, 2008, at the age of 54.

Mrs. Hon was raised in Puxico where she graduated from Puxico High School and had lived in Emporia, Kan., the past 22 years. She owned and operated Family Day Care in Emporia, Kan. Love and loyalty for family and friendships was evident. Her gift, talent and passion for interior design was seen and enjoyed by all who knew her.

On April 25, 1980, she was married to John Hon in Sikeston.

Surviving are her husband, John Hon of Emporia, Kan.; two sons, Jonathan Bollinger of Puxico and Robert Hon of Emporia, Kan.; six grandchildren; one brother, Paul G. Ludwig of LaBelle, Fla.; two sisters, Pamela Hubbert of Madison, Ala., and Kelley Kirkpatrick of Turlock, Calif.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, after 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Puxico.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, Nov. 19, 2008, at 1 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Puxico.

Interment will follow in the Puxico Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Puxico in charge of arrangements.
