Elaine Hurley

Elaine Hurley, daughter of Leo Tibbs of Dexter and the late Ruby Provance Tibbs, was born Nov. 18, 1950 at Dexter and died at Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Nov. 18, 2008 at the age of 58.

Elaine was a homemaker and a resident of Dexter.

She is survived by her father, Leo Tibbs of Dexter; by one sister, Sharon Goodman of Dexter; by one brother, Joseph Leo Tibbs of Poplar Bluff; by her niece, Lori Moore of Dexter; by her great nephew, Heath Moore of Dexter; by her great-great-niece, Halie Moore of Dexter.

Besides her mother, she was preceded in death by her stepmother, Christine Tibbs.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from noon until 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 21, 2008. A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter with Rev. Kenneth Biggs officiating.
