Eight families were highlighted in Tuesday's edition. Today we include seven more families who are up for "adoption" by individuals, businesses, civic or church groups, or an organization willing to contribute to this Christmas-time effort.
The Statesman will continually update readers as to the status of each family's adoption throughout the holiday season and will label families as "adopted" as contributors commit to taking on the responsibility of assisting those in need.
Again, readers who would like to help with this effort are asked to contact The Daily Statesman at 573-624-4545 or stop by the newspaper's office at 133 S. Walnut Street in Dexter.
