Paul David Smith

Paul David Smith, son of David Smith and Danetta Sue Joiner Cates, both of Dexter, was born on Sept. 1, 1969, in Dexter and died at the Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Friday, Dec. 12, 2008, at the age of 39.

Paul was the owner and operator of Computer Smarts in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

Besides his mother and step-father, Dannetta Cates and Jim of Dexter, other survivors include his father, David Smith of Dexter, his wife, Stephanie Hagan of Dexter; one daughter, Reiley Smith of Dexter; one sister, Crystal Smith of Dexter; and one half-sister, Cara Smith Parker of Dexter.

Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 14, 2008, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 15, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel in Dexter.

Interment will follow in the Ash Hill Cemetery in Fisk.
