Patricia Garrett

Patricia Garrett, daughter of the late James Benjamin and Helen Hubbard Garrett, was born at Advance on Jan. 9, 1951, and died at her residence in Dexter on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at the age of 57.

Mrs. Garrett was a former resident of the Bloomfield area and was of the Baptist Faith.

Survivors include two daughters, Lisa Bolin of Essex and Seprena Thompsett of Stevens, Pa.; three brothers, B. C. Garrett of Farmington, Tommy and James Garrett, both of Jackson; four sisters, Geraldine Thompson of Bowling Green, Ky., Kathryn Garrett of Puxico, Paula Carroll of Farmington, and Charlene Waite of Scott City; four grandchildren, Cody Clayton, Andrew Clayton, Roy Johnson Jr. and Mary Beth Bolin.

Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one grandson, Jake Clayton.

Visitation was held at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield from 10-11 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008.

Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at the Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home with Rev. Tammy Green officiating.
