Brenda Kay Tilley

Brenda Kay Tilley, daughter of Cristola Cobb Foushee of Bloomfield and the late Clarence James Foushee, was born on Nov. 15, 1952, at New Madrid County and died in the Missouri Southern Healthcare at Dexter on Dec. 20, 2008, at the age of 56.

She was united in marriage to Gerald Douglas "Shorty" Tilley on Aug. 26, 1994, at Bloomfield. Mr. Tilley preceded her in death on April 17, 2007.

She is survived by one son, Terry Lemons of Bloomfield; one daughter, Sherri Cookson of Bloomfield; her mother, Cristola Foushee of Bloomfield; one brother, Mike Foushee of Bloomfield; and four grandchildren.

Visitation was held from 12:30 -2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2008, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel.

Interment followed in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery at Bloomfield.
