Eleanor C. Aubuchon

Eleanor C. Aubuchon, the daughter of the late J. Arthur and Mae Combs Brown, was born in Bronaugh on Dec. 23, 1917, and died at the Cypress Point Nursing Center in Dexter on Dec. 26, 2008, at the age of 91.

Mrs. Aubuchon had lived in Desloge, Williamsville, Bloomfield, Cape Girardeau and Malden before moving to Dexter in 1992. She was a retired school teacher and was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Malden.

On May 24, 1942, she was married to Sterling R. Aubuchon in Herculaneum. He preceded her in death on Aug. 5, 1988.

Surviving are one son, John R. Aubuchon of Hazelwood; one daughter, Connie J. Jenkins of Dexter; two grandsons.

She was preceded in death by one grandchild; one sister, Wanda Mae Burton in 1996; and one brother in infancy.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, after 10 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008, at 11 a.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev. Greg Dowler of Malden officiating.

Interment will be in the West Pleasant Valley Cemetery near Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
