Mr. Passley was of the Baptist faith, a farmer, and a resident of Bernie.
Survivors include three sons, Martin Anthony Passley of Poplar Bluff, Joseph E. Passley of Dexter, and Morn F. Passley of Bernie; four daughters, Tina Marie Todd and Amanda Kay Hill, both of Texas, Rhonda Lee Groves of Greenville, and Bonita Passley; two brothers, Thomas Passley of Bernie and Joseph Passley of Malden; seven sisters, Mary Lou Soloman, Dorothy Wolfe, Jean Colter and Darlene Treat, all of Poplar Bluff, Joan Brown and Diane Camp, both of Florida, Gaydawn Thacker of Campbell; 18 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Frank Passley; and one sister, Mamie Rogers.
Visitation will be held from 12:30-2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel with Rev. James Clonts officiating.
Interment will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
