Wilma Ruth Grim, the daughter of the late William Clinton and Pearlie Patterson Ellis, was born in Essex on Sept. 27, 1917, and died at Missouri Southern Healthcare in Dexter on Jan. 21, 2009 at the age of 91.

Mrs. Grim had lived in Bloomfield since 1935 and was a member of the Bloomfield General Baptist Church.

On Dec. 6, 1986, she married Walter E. Grim, Sr. in Bloomfield. He preceded her in death on Dec. 15, 2000.

Surviving are one daughter, Patricia Ann Underwood of Bloomfield; one step-daughter, Joyce Pennington of Mich.; three step-sons, Donald Grim and Wayne Grim, both of Mich., and Walter E. Grim of Leora; one brother, William Arthur Ellis of Zephyrhills, Fla., one sister, Willene Warren of Dade City, Fla.; two grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandaughter.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Eloise McMullin and Lucille Cutler.

Visitation will be held on Sat., Jan. 24, 2009, after 11 a.m. at the Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside funeral services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 24, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield with the Rev. Kevin Eskew of Bloomfield officiating.

Interment will be in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield with Watkins and Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
