Mrs. Schacherbauer had lived in Dexter since 1961, and was a member of the Lighthouse Christian Center in Dexter.
On May 7, 1955, she was married to Herman Lee Schacherbauer in St. Louis. He preceded her in death on Feb. 17, 2005.
Surviving are two daughters, Carol A. Gilbow and Linda G. Vaughn, both of Dexter; one son, Phillip W. Schacherbauer of Springfield; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and one sister, Tommie Mae Blackburn of Fairmont City, Ill.
She was preceded in death by one great-grandson, DeVonte Handy.
Visitation will be held on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009, after 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be conducted on Monday, Feb. 2, 2009 at 1 p.m. in the Watkins and Sons Chapel in Dexter with the Rev, Tim Russell of Dexter officiating.
Interment will be in the Bluff Cemetery near Idalia with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
