Carl Gene Wallace

Carl Gene Wallace, son of Lowell and Edna Whitworth Wallace, was born in Parma on Feb. 25, 1947, and died at his home in Parma on Jan. 28, 2009, at the age of 61.

Mr. Wallace had lived in Parma most of his life.

Surviving are one daughter, Pam Carpenter of Texas; one son, Reggie Wallace of Texas; five grandchildren; two sisters, Janice Bush and June Evans both of Granite City, Ill.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Jimmy Dale Wallace.

Visitation will be held on Friday , Feb. 6, 2009, after 11 a.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Parma.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, Feb. 6, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Parma with the Rev. Jerry Chaney of Parma officiating.

Interment will be in the Bernie Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
