Geraline Hartline

Geralene Hartline, daughter of the late Harlie Hicks and Laura Chilton Hicks, was born on Jan. 14, 1946 in Puxico and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Feb. 5, 2009 at the age of 64.

Mrs. Hartline was a homemaker and a resident of Dexter.

On Dec. 8, 1961, she married John D. Hartline in Dudley and he survives of the home in Dexter.

Besides her husband, survivors include two sons, Cecil Wayne Hartline and Scott Wayne Hartline, both of Dexter; one daughter, Ginger Joree Demers of Dexter; one brother, Cecil E. Hicks of New Madrid; four sisters, Rosie Moore of Kennett, Pansy Franklin of Fisk, Patsy Hastings of Yazoo, Miss., and Rita Martin of Poplar Bluff, and five grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Nicholas Hartline.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2009. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday, Feb. 9, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Dudley Cemetery in Dudley with Rev. Johnny Bogel officiating. Interment will follow in the Dudley Cemetery.
