Bonnie Rushe Haga

Bonnie Rushe Haga, daughter of the late Noah H. and Maudie Jane Whitley Parris, was born on May 8, 1917, and died on Feb. 9, 2009 at the Golden Living Center in Bloomfield at the age of 91.

Mrs. Haga was a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Dexter and a resident of Dexter.

On July 21, 1989, she was united in marriage to Richard Haga in Bloomfield, who survives.

Besides her husband, she is survived by three step-sons; Church Haga, Mike Haga and Steve Haga, all of Poplar Bluff; by two step-daughters, Shelley and Karen Haga, both of Poplar Bluff, and by one sister, Edith Beggs of Washington, Mo.

Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers, Robert Parris, George Parris, Walter Parris and Paul Parris and by one sister, Ruth Sprinkles.

Visitation will take place at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2009 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2009 at 11 a.m. at the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Dexter. Interment will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
