Jonathon Michael Welker

Jonathon Michael Welker, the son of Jacob James and Elicia Marie Harms Welker, was born in Cape Girardeau on Feb. 26, 2009, and died at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau on Feb. 26, 2009.

Jonathon's mother and father are of the Baptist faith.

Surviving are his parents, Jacob and Elicia Welker of Dexter; his paternal grandparents, Kenneth Welker and Pamela Welker, both of Brownwood; paternal great-grandparents, James and Joy White of Brownwood and Janice Willis; maternal grandparents, Jeffery and Tammy Harms of Dudley; paternal great-grandparents, Gloria and Tom Blough of Dexter and Janease Harms of Wynnona.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 2, 2009, 1 p.m. till 1:30 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside funeral services were conducted on Monday, March 2, 2009, at 2 p.m. at the Smith Stevenson Cemetery in Pyle Town.

Interment followed in the Smith Stevenson Cemetery in Pyle Town with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
