Geraldine W. Boyle

Geraldine W. Boyle, daughter of the late Walter Bonner and Ethel LivingstonBonner was born on Sept. 22, 1919, at Bernie and died at Malden Nursing Center on March 2, 2009, at the age of 89.

Mrs. Boyle was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church of Bernie.

She was united in marriage to J. M. Boyle on Oct. 4, 1941. at Malden. Mr. Boyle preceded his wife in death on Oct. 24, 1994.

Survivors include one son, Larry Boyle of Bernie; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death other than by her parents and her husband; one infant son, Randy Lee Boyle.

Visitation will be held at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie on Wednesday, March 4, 2009, from 12 noon until 12:45 p.m.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday in Bernie Cemetery starting at 1 p.m. with Rev. O.H. Brooks officiating.
