Burford-Jennings

Ron and Janis Burford of Benton announce the engagement of their daughter, Julie Renee Burford, to Randy E. Jennings, Jr., both of Cape Girardeau.

He is the son of Randy and Jana Jennings of Bernie.

Burford is a 2005 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. She received a bachelor of science in dental hygiene. She is a registered dental hygienist at Cross Trails Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Jennings is a 2002 graduate of Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He is a registered sonographer at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

An Aug. 29 wedding is planned at First Baptist Church in Jackson.
