Thomas B. Bass went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, April 19, 2009.

He was the beloved husband of Verta Faye Bass (nee Mann); dear father of Deborah (Larry) Wallje, Gary T. (Kim) Bass, Pam (Fred) Eppers and Melinda (Darren) Baker; dear grandfather of Lisa, Lori, John, Doug, Carla, Chris, Nick, Kaitlyn, Grant and Aidan; dear great-grandfather of Max, Gary Jr., Tyler, Makayla and Andrew; dear brother of Virginia West, Margie (Jim) Robbins and Barbara (Dean) Jarrell; dear son of the late John and Mary Bass; our dear brother-in-law, nephew, uncle, cousin and friend to many.

He had retired from Laclede Gas Company after 40 years of service and was a member of First Baptist Church of Lemay.

Visitation was held at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road (at Butler Hill) on Tuesday, April 21, 2009, from 4-9 p.m. and will be held at First Baptist Church of Lemay on Wednesday, April 22, 2009, from 10 a.m. until service time of 11 a.m.

Interment will follow at Lakewood Park Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church of Lemay Bus Fund or St. Anthony's Hospice Program and are appreciated.
