Mr. Patterson had lived in the Dexter and Essex areas all his life. He had worked in maintenance of mobile homes for L.B. Black for many years.
Surviving are his wife, Janet Patterson of Bloomfield; his daughter, Ashley Lynn Patterson of Poplar Bluff; one son, Tim "Timbo" Grigery of Dexter; his parents, R.W. "Dub" and Ruth Marie Conner of Dexter; four grandchildren, Colton Grigery, Larissa Throckmorton, Marissa VanVacter and Madison VanVacter; two sister, Sandra Vaughn and Linda Morgan, both of Dexter.
Other relatives and friends also survive.
Visitation was held from 5-8 p.m. Monday, May 4, 2009, at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 5, 2009, at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. James Malloy of Essex officiating.
Interment followed in the Essex Cemetery with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
