Robert Glen Jordan

Robert Glen Jordan, son of Ruth Mouser of Essex and the late Vernon Lee Jordan, was born on June 4, 1953 at Ypsilanti, Mich. and died in Southeast Hospital at Cape Girardeau on May 5, 2009 at the age of 55.

Mr. Jordan attended the First United Methodist Church in New Madrid, was a former crew leader for the Missouri Department of Transportation and a resident of New Madrid.

He is survived by one son, Justin Glen Jordan of Essex: by one daughter, Amy Ash of Dexter: by his parents, Ruth and Glen Dale Mouser of Essex: by his fiancé, Charlotte Patterson of New Madrid: by two brothers, Gale Jordan of Dexter and Larry Mouser of Essex: by two sisters, Brenda Wilson of Warner Robins, Georgia and Kim King of Dexter: by two grandchildren.

Friends may call at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter from 5 p.m. until 8 p.m. Thursday, May 7, 2009. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday, May 8, 2009 in the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Essex Cemetery.
