Clifford Musgrave, son of the late Owen Brice and Lucille Henretta Dallas Musgrave, was born in Malden on March 29, 1931, and died at his home near Bloomfield on May 7, 2009, at the age of 78.
Mr. Musgrave had lived in Dexter and Bloomfield most of his life. He had owned Cliff's Carpets in Dexter before his retirement. He was a past member of the Dexter Elks, Dexter Investment Club and a life member of the NRA.
On Aug. 26, 1954, he was married to Betty Lou Souders in Union City, Tenn.
Surviving are his wife, Betty Lou Musgrave of Bloomfield; one son, Mike Musgrave of Bloomfield; two daughters, Sharon Scism and Karen Rasor, both of Dexter, six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; one brother, Dale Musgrave of Dexter; three sisters, Faye Houchin of Sikeston, Connie King of Illinois, and JoAnn Putman of Dexter. Other relatives and friends also survive. He was preceded in death by one sister, Jean Henderson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 10, 2009, from 5-8 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2009, at 1 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Bro. Dale Rogers & Rev. Tim Russell officiating.
Interment will be in the Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Bloomfield with Watkins & Sons Funeral Service of Dexter in charge of arrangements.
