Dexter will be looking to turn home field advantage into a Class 3, District 1 championship as tournament action gets underway Monday at the East Park ballfield in Dexter.
The Bearcats enter the tournament as the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 Doniphan Monday at 3 p. m. in a first-round game.
If the seedings hold true, Dexter will face Notre Dame Regional High School in the finals on Wednesday at 6 p. m., weather permitting.
The Bulldogs are the tournament's No. 1 seed and are currently ranked No. 1 in the state.
Notre Dame, which has beaten Dexter twice this season, will get an important first-round bye.
Kennett enters as the No. 3 seed and will take on No. 6 Caruthersville Monday at 5, while No. 4 Fredericktown and No. 5 New Madrid County Central will kick off Monday's play at 1 o'clock.
Semifinal action is scheduled for Tuesday, with the title game set for Wednesday.
