Frankie J. Walker

Frankie J. Walker, daughter of the late Richard and Agnes Feiser Hardesty, was born in Parma on Sept. 29, 1929 and died at the Oakdale Nursing Home in Poplar Bluff on May 26, 2009, at 79.

Ms. Walker had grown up in Parma and lived in Detroit, Mich. before moving to Poplar Bluff. She retired after 25 years as administrative assistant in the prosecuting attorney's office. She was a member of the Baptist faith.

On Nov. 30, 1952 she was married to Henry S. (Doby) Walker in Piggott, Ark. He preceded her in death on April 18, 1977.

Surviving are several cousins in St. Louis, County, Parma and Rogers, Ark.

Visitation will be Friday, May 29, 2009, after 12 p.m. at the Watkins & Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 29, 2009, at 1 p.m..at the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Dexter with Rev. George Howell of Poplar Bluff officiating.

Interment will be in Chalk Bluff Cemetery in Dexter.
